Santi Cazorla is yet to be offered a new Arsenal contract as the midfielder battles back to fitness from a horror injury.

The Spain international has not played competitively for his club since October 2016 but has been able to complete light training drills.

Cazorla underwent multiple surgeries on his right Achilles after an infection left him at risk of having the foot amputated.

The 33-year-old is working towards a recovery but does not know if he will still be at Arsenal next season as his contract expires at the end of the campaign.

I finish my contract in June and I do not know anything about my future,  Cazorla told Cadena SER.

We will see what happens, but for the moment nobody has offered me anything at Arsenal.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp hailed Niko Kranjcar after the Croatian playmaker rescued a point for his side against Stoke City on Saturday.

Kranjcar curled home a sensational free-kick two minutes from time to earn QPR a 2-2 draw at Loftus Road.

Much had been made of the fact Hodgson had never been to south Wales during his spell as England manager, despite the likes of Nathan Dyer, Wayne Routledge and Leon Britton starring for the club since he took the national-team job in May 2012.

Both teams ended up with a red card in the New York Red Bulls 3-1 home win against Inter Miami on Saturday night, where an early Gonzalo Higuain goal was not enough for the visitors to nab any points against their Eastern Conference foes.

Higuain opened the scoring in the 19th minute with an absolute rocket, firing his direct free kick to the goalkeeper-side of the wall and into the top corner.

While that gave Miami the momentum, it was ripped away 10 minutes later when Alejandro Pozuelo was shown a straight red card, putting the away side on the back foot the rest of the way.

Lewis Morgan s goal in the 43rd minute ensured the teams would head into the break all tied up, and Daniel Edelman made it 2-1 for the Red Bulls just eight minutes into the second half.
