AS Roma captain Francesco Totti blasted Danish player Christian Poulsen, who recently made a move to Serie A rivals Juventus.
The two players first met in a group match at Euro 2008 between Italy and Denmark, and Totti ended up spitting his opponent in his face, with a three-match ban as result.
Poulsen realizes that it won t be easy to gain popularity in Italy after that event, especially since Totti claimed that it was the Dane s behaviour that triggered the whole situation in the first place.
In an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport, Totti gave his view on the matter: He should have worried before. It s easy to talk now. Right after the match he should have gone to the arbitrary commission to tell the truth.
As far as Poulsen s value for Juventus goes, Totti s opinion is even more negative: I think that Poulsen won t add anything to Juventus.
