Santi Cazorla is yet to be offered a new Arsenal contract as the midfielder battles back to fitness from a horror injury.

The Spain international has not played competitively for his club since October 2016 but has been able to complete light training drills.

Cazorla underwent multiple surgeries on his right Achilles after an infection left him at risk of having the foot amputated.

The 33-year-old is working towards a recovery but does not know if he will still be at Arsenal next season as his contract expires at the end of the campaign.

I finish my contract in June and I do not know anything about my future,  Cazorla told Cadena SER.

We will see what happens, but for the moment nobody has offered me anything at Arsenal.

Manchester United midfielder Mats Daehli has moved on a permanent deal to Norwegian side Molde.

The 18-year-old will link up with former United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has managed the Tippeligaen outfit since 2011.

Daehli featured for both the Under-18s side and the reserves at Old Trafford but the Norwegian failed to break into the first team.

Solskjaer told the Premier League champions official website: He s here to develop. There s no pressure on him to come in here and turn our season around. We ll take this step-by-step.

Both teams ended up with a red card in the New York Red Bulls 3-1 home win against Inter Miami on Saturday night, where an early Gonzalo Higuain goal was not enough for the visitors to nab any points against their Eastern Conference foes.

Higuain opened the scoring in the 19th minute with an absolute rocket, firing his direct free kick to the goalkeeper-side of the wall and into the top corner.

While that gave Miami the momentum, it was ripped away 10 minutes later when Alejandro Pozuelo was shown a straight red card, putting the away side on the back foot the rest of the way.
